2018 Summit  |  Thursday 18 January - Saturday 20 January

The 2018 Verbier Art Summit will take place from 18 to 20 January in Verbier, Switzerland, and museum director Daniel Birnbaum, of Moderna Museet Stockholm, Sweden, has been invited to select the 2018 keynote speakers to discuss an important social issue: MORE THAN REAL. ART IN THE DIGITAL AGE .

2017 Summit

The last Verbier Art Summit took place from 19 to 21 January 2017 and was organised in partnership with Beatrix Ruf and the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, the Netherlands, around the theme SIZE MATTERS! (DE)GROWTH OF THE 21ST CENTURY ART MUSEUM The 2017 Summit included influential keynote speakers, such as the architect Rem Koolhaas, the artist Tino Sehgal, HRH Prince Constantijn of the Netherlands, professor Benjamin Bratton (Professor of Visual Arts at the University of California, San Diego) and philosopher Cissie Fu (Emily Carr University, Vancouver).

By transforming the Summit into a publication, the global dialogue continues. The 2017 SUMMIT BOOK   launched at Frieze Art Fair in London on 4 October and is now available.
