The Verbier Art Summit is an exclusive event upon invitation only. At the 2017 Summit, 100 influential art world stakeholders came together: international private and corporate collectors, curators, museum directors, artists, gallerists, art consultants and art historians / critics, all looking to have a tangible impact on the art world by sharing their ideas and vision.

The Verbier Art Summit programme educates, provokes and inspires its members and the wider community. The morning Art Debates take place in small groups of max. 25 members, whereby each stakeholder group is duly represented, ensuring new insights will be generated. The afternoon Art Talks are open to all members and also to the general public, providing all art lovers with a one-off chance to be inspired by international leading art world figures on topical issues.
The key insights of each year's Summit will be documented in a publication designed by Irma Boom, and the outcome of the Summit will be made available to students and other global art world stakeholders via this website and social media.
The Summit's location is Verbier, a world-renowned winter resort in the French-speaking part of Switzerland, with breathtaking views of the Grand Combin - one of the highest peaks in the Swiss Alps. Verbier is also home to the classical music Verbier Festival, and with its picturesque chalet-style architecture and bohemian flair, it provides the ideal intimate setting for an inspiring Art Summit.
